'Israel' failing in dealing with threat of Hezbollah's drones: Israeli media
In a related context, Israeli media touched Friday on what it called a "very tragic and unfortunate" incident that occurred a few days ago in the north of occupied Palestine after Hezbollah launched a one-way drone toward Nahariya.
On August 6, 2024, the Israeli occupation confirmed that several people were injured in Nahariya after one of its interceptor missiles failed to intercept several targets launched from Lebanon and hit the ground.
Or Heller, the military affairs correspondent for the Israeli Channel 13, said an Israeli interceptor missile failed to intercept the drone, killing Mikhail Samara from Kafr Yasif, and injuring 14 others.

Heller pointed out that the air defense unit in the Israeli Air Force, along with Israeli defense industries, have been tirelessly working on how to deal with the threat of Hezbollah's unmanned aircraft, adopting a different approach to intercept the explosive drones and relying each time on a new method, thinking, and technique, "but unfortunately, this has failed."
The correspondent confirmed that they are investigating this "serious failure" and constantly testing other methods and different ways to counter Hezbollah's drone threat.
