The announcement comes after an Israeli drone targeted a car in the town of Khirbet Selem in South Lebanon on Monday.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah mourned the martyr on the path to al-Quds, leader Wissam Hassan Tawil, from the town of Khirbet Selem in South Lebanon.
In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the Resistance faction mourned the leader, publishing a number of photos that showed him alongside prominent Resistance leaders in the context of his line of work.
In individual photos, martyr Tawil is seen with current Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, martyred leader Imad Moughniyeh, martyred leader Mostafa Badreddine, and martyred leader of the IRGC's Quds Force, martyr Qassem Soleimani.
Earlier today, an Israeli drone launched a strike on a car in the town of Khirbet Selem, reportedly assassinating the commander then.
This comes a few days after the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted a strategic Israeli military site, located on the highest point in the '48 occupied territories.
The attack on the "Meron" Air Traffic Control Base on Saturday morning saw the Resistance launch 62 guided missiles and rockets, directly hitting the intended targets at the site on multiple occasions. Hezbollah said that the attack was an initial response to the assassination of Palestinian Resistance leader, martyr Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, and his brothers in the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
