Hezbollah publishes footage of attack on Kirya, dissects base
The video provided a 3D map of the base, which houses the Israeli Ministry of Security headquarters, the General Staff, the War Room, and the Air Force’s War Control and Monitoring Unit.
The Military Media Unit in the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon published Friday footage showing Hezbollah's drone and missile attack that targeted the Israeli Kirya base in central Tel Aviv on November 13, 2024.
The video provided a 3D map of the base, which houses "Israel's" Ministry of Security headquarters, the General Staff, the War Room, and the Air Force’s War Control and Monitoring Unit.
The footage depicted the launch of a swarm of one-way drones, which differ in size and type from those Hezbollah typically uses, and included clips from Israeli settlers’ cameras filming the drones en route to their target in Tel Aviv.
The 1-minute-18-second video also featured Hezbollah fighters preparing and launching the Qader 2 ballistic missile toward the target, with settlers’ cameras also documenting the missiles' impact.

In a related context, the Islamic Resistance also released a detailed 2.5-minute video presenting a target profile of the Kirya base and outlining its components, including its buildings, facilities, offices, parking areas, and helipad.
What does the Kirya base include?
Hezbollah's video revealed that the Kirya base includes Camp Rabin, one of the Israeli military’s primary bases, serving as the occupation army’s command center since its establishment in 1948 i.e. since the Nakba.
According to the footage, Camp Rabin is home to the Ministry of Security, the General Staff, and the operations room known as “The Pit".
It also houses the Air Force and Navy headquarters, the office of the occupation army spokesperson, the Military Rabbinate, the soldiers' recruitment committee, the Depth Corps, and the office of the Israeli Prime Minister.

The video showed that the Kirya base's northern section is a military zone, while its southern section is a settlement area.
Since it is located in the densely-populated city of Tel Aviv, the base primarily serves command, administrative, communications, and support functions.
The military base is home to Marganit Tower, which contains offices, antennas, and communication equipment. It is also home to the Canary Towers, nestled in the northwest corner of Camp Rabin, which stand tall at 18 stories each.
Hezbollah's targeting of Kirya proof of capabilities: Israeli media
Shortly after Hezbollah targeted the Kirya base in Tel Aviv and the subsequent rocket launches toward the central region in occupied Palestine, Israeli media suggested that the third phase of the war with Hezbollah includes Tel Aviv, emphasizing that the Lebanese group "is committed to the promises it made."
Israeli Channel 12's political affairs correspondent, Yaron Avraham, considered that the launches directed at Tel Aviv are proof of Hezbollah's extensive firepower capabilities, pointing out that "anyone who believes otherwise is mistaken; the situation is not like that at all."
Avraham indicated that this capability "shall remain with Hezbollah, even after the completion of a ceasefire agreement, if one does take place," with Israeli media outlets noting that the Lebanese group is capable of launching rockets at the central region daily.
Similarly, retired Major General Eitan Dangot acknowledged in a statement to Channel 12 that Hezbollah "maintains its rocket and drone capabilities and achieves successes through them."
