Hezbollah pummels Nahariya with rockets, destroys Merkava tanks
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues confronting the Israeli occupation across various axes, bombarding Israeli sites while thwarting attempts to invade the South.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah barraged the Israeli occupation, in occupied territories and at the Lebanese-Palestinian border, with hundreds of rockets, while confronting its troops trying to invade Lebanese territories, in defense of Lebanon and its people, as well as in support of Gaza and its Resistance.
On Thursday, Hezbollah kickstarted its operations with a rocket salvo targeted at the Zevulun military-industrial base, located north of occupied Haifa, before launching a large rocket barrage at occupied Safad, only 30 minutes later.
Within its Khaybar series of operations, and under the call of "Labbayk ya Nasrallah" [here we respond to your call, O Nasrallah], the Islamic Resistance announced that its fighters bombarded the Nahariya settlement with a "very large" barrage of rockets.

Hezbollah also targeted Israeli soldier gatherings across al-Manara and Misgav Am, both of which are fortified military sites on the border. The Resistance also targeted Kiryat Shmona with a salvo of rockets.

Tough incident in Nahariya
The Israeli occupation military reported around 50 rockets in the latest barrage launched from Lebanon toward Nahariya. Israeli police also recorded several rockets landing in the settlement and western al-Jalil, resulting in damage to vehicles.
Israeli media confirmed that one of the rockets fired by Hezbollah at the Nahariya area directly struck a house in the Netiv Hashayara settlement.
A fire broke out inside the Herbert Samuel Hotel in al-Jalil due to the impact of a rocket launched from Lebanon. Consequently, amid the rocket attack, police urged settlers in both areas to stay close to shelters and avoid approaching rocket impact sites.
The Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya also treated four injuries from the recent shelling in western al-Jalil, while the Magen David Adom emergency service confirmed that three Israelis were injured, two of whom were reported to be in critical condition, as a result.
Commenting on the rocket fire launched by Hezbollah today, Israeli media coined it a "tough incident" in Nahariya, noting that sirens were blasting frantically in the North, particularly in the area and its surrounding settlements.
Sirens were also blaring in Edmit, Ya'ara, Dovev, and al-Malikiyah, as well as in Rosh Pina, Safad, and their vicinity, followed by alerts in Misgav Am in the al-Jalil panhandle, Akka, Shavei Tzion, and then again in Nahariya.
Israeli media also confirmed the detection of rockets crashing in the vicinity of Haifa, along with rockets falling into the sea near Haifa without triggering warning alerts.
Meanwhile, the head of the local council for Hatzor HaGalilit (near Rosh Pina and Safad) confirmed that rockets made an impact in the area, as well as damage and power outages.
'Israel' switches up to defensive positions
The Israeli occupation forces confirmed the killing of four soldiers in ground battles along the southern Lebanon border on Wednesday. Several other injuries were also transferred to hospitals.
Today, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported smoke rising in the border town of Rab Thalathin, which witnessed confrontations between the Resistance and the occupation forces.
Our correspondent also noted the presence of Israeli military formations from the village of Ghajar to the occupied Shebaa Farms, emphasizing that these formations are now in a defensive position rather than an offensive one due to the heavy fire from Hezbollah.
