Hezbollah rockets pummel Israeli settlements in north for first time

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced Friday a new series of operations carried out by its fighters against Israeli military sites and troops.
Hezbollah reiterated that its operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese towns and villages.
The group stated that its Resistance fighters struck the Biranit barracks (Headquarters of Division 91) with heavy Burkan rockets and achieved accurate hits, setting it ablaze and partially destroying it. Hezbollah said the operation was in response to the Israeli assault on the southern Lebanese town of Maroun al-Ras.

Hezbollah fighters also targeted the al-Baghdadi site with heavy Burkan rockets and achieved a direct hit, in response to the Israeli aggression on the town of Aitaroun.
The Resistance also said its fighters shelled the Ramot Naftali settlement with a rocket barrage.
It later confirmed that its fighters launched an aerial assault using drone strikes targeting Iron Dome launchers in the al-Zaoura base, hitting their installations and positions accurately and resulting in damage and fires. Hezbollah said the attack was in response to the Israeli aggression on the Houla square.
The Islamic Resistance also said it engaged a building used by Israeli troops in the Shomera settlement (occupied Lebanese village of Tarbikha) with the right weapons, achieving a direct hit. It said the strike was in response to the Israeli aggression on Maroun al-Ras.
Hezbollah mentioned that its fighters engaged the Ma'ayan Baruch site with rockets and artillery shells, hitting it directly. Later, it said its Resistance fighters targeted the al-Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills with rockets, achieving accurate hits.
In addition, the Resistance confirmed that its fighters targeted the settlements of Ga'ton, Ain Yaaqoub, and Yehiam with dozens of Katyusha rockets. Israeli media pointed out that new settlements have joined the warning zone in the north, where sirens can be heard for the first time since October 7. Hezbollah confirmed that the operation was in response to the Israeli attack on the civil defense in al-Naqoura, which resulted in the martyrdom of one crew member and the injury of others.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense - The Islamic Health Society had announced the martyrdom of paramedic Haidar Mahmoud Jouhair (Ameer) from the town of al-Naqoura in southern Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon also mourned martyr Abbas Haidar Bousi (Abu al-Fadl) from the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.

In the same context, Israeli media reported three injuries in northern occupied Palestine as a result of the recent rocket barrage launched from Lebanon.
The media highlighted that Hezbollah has expanded the line of fire, launching nearly 100 rockets toward settlements not evacuated in the western al-Jalil.
Additionally, the media said four Israelis with various injuries were transported to Nahariya Hospital.
