In detail, an Israeli drone struck a car at the entrance to the town, resulting in its destruction and the martyrdom of its passenger.
Meanwhile, Israeli assaults continue in villages across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that hostile drones have been flying extensively, silently, over the western and central sectors in the south, reaching areas north of Tyre and its surroundings.
Drones were also observed over Tafahta and nearby areas, as well as over Zrariyeh and Irzay, flying at very low altitudes.
Since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health has documented 331 martyrs and at least 945 wounded due to Israeli strikes, highlighting the continued violence despite the truce.
OHCHR: Israeli strikes on Lebanon constitute 'war crimes', breach UN charter
Earlier today, Morris Tidball-Binz, the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, criticized recent Israeli aggressions, including a deadly drone strike on the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Saida that led to the martyrdom of at least 14 people, among them 12 children, on November 18, 2025.
The attack was the deadliest since the ceasefire agreement of November 2024.
"This is not an isolated event, but part of a disturbing trend of lethal operations by Israel in populated areas," Tidball-Binz stated, emphasizing that the repeated targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure constitutes war crimes and breaches the UN Charter.
The UN expert noted that "Israel" has carried out near-daily drone and air raids across southern Lebanon, forming a "broader pattern of unlawful killings" and clear violations of the ceasefire terms.
1 killed, 11 wounded, incl. students
This comes at a time of escalating Israeli aggression against Lebanon. On November 19, Israeli occupation forces reportedly issued evacuation warnings to residents of the southern Lebanese villages of Ainatha and Tayr Felsay, before carrying out a series of strikes targeting civilian homes, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondents on the ground.
Additionally, earlier in the day, an Israeli drone launched two missiles targeting a car in at-Tiri, in South Lebanon, while a bus transporting students was just behind it. The strike killed a passenger in the targeted car, and the blast caused damage to the bus and wounded the students and the bus driver.
Spiral of continuous aggression
Over the past few days alone, Israeli forces have carried out a series of attacks across southern and eastern Lebanon.
On November 18, an attack carried out by "Israel" struck the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Saida, Lebanon, leaving 14 civilians dead and marking a severe escalation of tensions while representing a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese Health Ministry announced that one civilian was martyred in an Israeli drone strike that targeted his vehicle in the town of Blida, located in the Marj'youn Governorate in South Lebanon.
On the same day, an Israeli drone also targeted a vehicle in the city of Bint Jbeil by launching two missiles at the car, killing one citizen.
On November 17, the principal of the Mansouri Public School, Mohammad Shuweikh, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district, South Lebanon, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.
An Israeli Merkava tank fired on UNIFIL personnel near an Israeli-built position inside Lebanese territory, the UN's peacekeeping force in Lebanon reported on November 16.
