Hezbollah's UAV's pose greatest challenge to Israeli defenses: Media
More than 1,000 drones have been launched at Israeli sites since the beginning of the war on Gaza, most of which originated from Lebanon.
Hezbollah's drones "pose the main challenge" for Israeli air defenses, Israeli broadcaster Channel 13 reported.
It highlighted the fact that Hezbollah's one-way attack drones are impacting their targets, as "Israel's" top-tier Iron Dome system and fighter aircraft fail to bring them down.
The broadcaster revealed that more than 1,000 drones have been launched toward northern Israeli-occupied territories since the war on Gaza was launched.
In a similar context, the former commander of the Israeli occupation forces Northern Command, Yossi Peled, told the Israeli Public Broadcaster (KAN11) that the developments on the Northern Front are a "remarkable strategic victory for Hezbollah."
Hezbollah’s military campaign in support of Palestine has forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of settlers from northern colonial outposts, while military sites face daily direct hits. Many of the Resistance’s tactics, particularly Hezbollah's Unmanned Air Force, remain unanswered by Israel—a fact even acknowledged by Channel 13.

Drones bypass defenses, impact Velon base
The latest of Hezbollah's unmanned attacks on Israeli military sites saw swarms of one-way attack drones target the Velon base. The base is located 15.5 km away from the Israeli line of withdrawal from South Lebanon, to the south of Rosh Pina, an area that has come under several attacks in the past few days.
The explosive-laden drones targeted the positions and dwelling areas of Israeli occupation forces in the base, dealing confirmed hits to the intended targets on Friday afternoon.
According to Hezbollah's Military Media Unit, the Velon base hosts the headquarters of several Israeli battalions serving under the 210th Division, which is responsible for operations in the occupied Golan along the Syrian front, as well as storage facilities.
Such attacks have become a near-daily occurrence, with endless videos emerging of the drones swarming their targets, as expensive Israeli air defense missiles and fighter jets struggle to contain the incoming attacks.
