Hezbollah in Lebanon on Monday strongly condemned the joint US-Israeli aggression targeting vital facilities and civilian infrastructure in the city of Hodeidah, western Yemen, calling it a "blatant war crime" and a clear violation of international laws and conventions.

In an official statement, Hezbollah praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, noting that despite enduring air raids, naval blockades, drones, and missile strikes, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, they have remained unwavering in their support for Gaza.

Yemeni people to continue supporting Palestine

The statement emphasized that the recent strikes will only reinforce Yemen’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, asserting that such aggression will strengthen Yemen’s resolve to impose maritime and aerial blockades on "Israel", regardless of the sacrifices required.

Hezbollah expressed its full solidarity with the Yemeni people and their "wise and courageous leadership," urging free nations and active forces worldwide to denounce the attack in the strongest terms.

Hezbollah concluded its statement by calling on the Arab and Islamic world to take immediate and effective action, stressing the need to confront US and Israeli arrogance and to fulfill their responsibilities in defending the rights of oppressed nations.

Hamas condemns Israeli aggression

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas strongly condemned the latest "Israeli" airstrikes on Yemen, describing the attack as a "brutal Zionist aggression" against the brotherly Yemeni people. The strikes, carried out by Israeli military aircraft, targeted civilian sites in the city and port of Hodeidah.

In a statement, Hamas said the assault constitutes a war crime and a systematic act of state terrorism. It linked the attack to what it described as the failed attempts of the Netanyahu-led government to pressure Yemen and the Ansar Allah movement into halting their support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, who continue to face a genocidal war.

Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah affirm solidarity

The Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah condemned the US-Israeli aggression on Yemen, calling it a continuation of the crimes committed against the peoples of the region, particularly in Palestine and Yemen. In a statement, the group reaffirmed its support for Yemen in the face of “arrogance and the targeting of civilian infrastructure.”

The party accused Washington and Tel Aviv of pursuing a “bloody approach” that aims to destroy civilian infrastructure and kill innocents.

They further described the recent strikes on Yemen as an extension of the US imperialist agenda that supports genocide in Gaza and seeks to subjugate free nations. The group said the aggression is a desperate attempt to break Yemen’s solidarity with the Palestinian people and their defiance of the siege on Gaza.

Reaffirming their stance, the Hezbollah Brigades expressed unwavering solidarity with the “resilient and dignified people of Yemen,” saluting their leadership and affirming their right to respond in a manner that safeguards their security and dignity.

Attack aims to distract from Israeli failures

The movement stated that the aggression comes after a significant missile strike by Yemeni forces, which succeeded in bypassing "Israel's" defense systems. Hamas argued that the occupation is now trying, through this escalation, to restore its damaged image following its failure to intercept the Yemeni missiles.

Hamas emphasized that Yemen, through its steadfast leadership and repeated resilience in the face of foreign aggression, has affirmed its determination to stand with the Palestinian people.

It praised Yemen’s continued stance of dignity and courage in the face of what it described as an 18-month-long genocidal war waged against the people of Gaza in full view of the international community.

'Israel' airstrikes Yemen's Hodeidah

"Israel" has launched multiple airstrikes on the western Yemeni port city of Hodeidah, Yemen's Al Masirah reports. The broadcaster said both the port and surrounding urban areas were targeted, reporting a total of six strikes conducted by Israeli and US forces.

This follows earlier reports that a projectile fired from Yemeni territory struck "Israel's" main airport, briefly disrupting operations for about thirty minutes, and causing multiple airliners to halt trips to the occupied territories.

In detail, major foreign airlines, including Lufthansa, Air France, Delta, and Wizz Air, canceled Tel Aviv flights on Sunday following a ballistic missile strike from Yemen that hit near Ben Gurion International Airport.

While no casualties were recorded, the missile reportedly bypassed Israeli and US interception systems, including Arrow and THAAD. Yemen later confirmed responsibility for the strike, as a direct response to Israeli aggression and part of its continued support for Gaza.
