Hezbollah targets IOF in response to strike that killed Lebanese mayor
According to Israeli media, three anti-tank missiles were launched this evening at the "Metula" settlement, damaging a home and causing it to catch fire.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced its fighters carried out an operation against Israeli occupation forces (IOF) inside a house in the "Metula" settlement with missiles in response to the killing of a Lebanese mayor in the southern town of Taybeh.
Taybeh's Mayor Hussein Mansour was martyred at the age of 80 in his residence, located a few kilometers away from the blue line separating Lebanon and occupied Palestine, his relative Mohamed Mansour informed Reuters.

Hezbollah announced direct targets were achieved and numerous IOF troops were hit.
Channel 14 reported that Hezbollah launched two anti-tank missiles on the settlement, destroying two buildings.
The head of the Council of the Israeli settlement of "Metula", David Azoulai, affirmed on Saturday evening that all Israeli civilian infrastructure in the Israeli settlements located within a 4-kilometer distance from the borders with Lebanon is out of service due to the continued targeting by Hezbollah. (The settlement is situated in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon at the Lebanese-Palestinian borders).
Azoulai questioned how the civilian infrastructure in Lebanon along the border, including a quarry located 70 meters north of "Metula", could function when all Israeli infrastructure within 4 kilometers of the border remains inoperable due to Hezbollah.
On Sunday, December 10, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah carried out 8 military operations targeting the bases, sites, and infantry of the Israeli occupation forces in the eastern and western sectors across the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation warplanes carried out successive raids on the outskirts of the town of Yaroun, while shelling the outskirts of the towns of Ramia, Marwahin, Aita al-Shaab, Halta, Khiam, Mhaybib, Kawnin, Aitaroun, Kafr Kila, and Tallet al-Awaidah from the side of the town of Taybeh, according to our correspondent reported.
The Resistance in Lebanon continues its operations along the border with occupied Palestine, targeting the positions of the Israeli army, its crowds, and its vehicles, in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and support for their Resistance.
As reported earlier by the Israeli media, there is a growing concern among settlers in the north about returning to their homes. They have levied accusations against the occupation government, accusing it of abandoning them.
