Hezbollah: 'Israel' lacks capability to dictate terms to Lebanon, Gaza
Member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, said the Israeli threats against the Resistance as baseless.
MP Hassan Fadlallah, a Member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, told Al Mayadeen that "Israel does not have the upper hand on the battlefield," confirming that "the victory of Gaza will be for the entire nation."
"The battlefield is what controls the overall course of this confrontation," he said.
He affirmed that "Israel" is not in a position to impose conditions on Lebanon, adding that it is committing murder in Gaza, yet it lacks the ability to dictate its terms there too.
"We do not receive threats or instructions, as the Resistance is in control of the initiative and dictates the situation on the ground," he added.
'Israeli threats are baseless'
Fadlallah regarded Israeli threats as baseless, emphasizing that in Lebanon and Gaza, the land should be returned to its rightful owners once the occupiers leave.
He further emphasized that the Army, the People and the Resistance equation holds firm in Lebanon, noting the martyrs of the Resistance, the army, and civilians who sacrificed their lives in this confrontation.
The top Hezbollah officials pointed out that the plan to forcibly displace Palestinians to Egypt has failed in Gaza.
He also conveyed a message to "Israel", stating that the people of Lebanon will always defend their country and will fight in retaliation for Gaza.
Resistance will emerge victorious
Residents of southern Lebanese villages near the border with occupied Palestine have been living under constant threat since 1948, and they are people of resilience, sacrifice, and endurance.
"During any confrontation in southern Lebanon, we witness a sense of security and trust in the Resistance among its popular base, as the enemy is deterred from conducting any major military operation," she said.
The MP pointed out that the "Southern Front is in a state of war," and that "developments are linked to the course of the battlefield in Gaza" while noting that "the enemy should not feel reassured."
Regarding the military developments in Gaza, Fadlallah confirmed that the "occupying army has not achieved any victory in Gaza," and that "after two months of aggression, it is unable to release a single Israeli captive."
Fadlallah expressed hope that "the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon will emerge victorious in its support for Gaza, as well as for our cause, our sanctities, and the oppressed."
