Sayyed Nasrallah: On the Lebanese front, all options are on the table
After 28 days, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah breaks his deliberate silence to address unraveling developments in Gaza and the Middle East.
Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed today, Friday, that "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was 100% a Palestinian decision, and its execution was 100% Palestinian, adding that "its initiators kept it concealed from everyone, even from other Palestinian factions and Resistance movements, which they did not mind."

During the ceremony held in honor of the martyrs who embraced martyrdom on the path to Al-Quds, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that “the absolute secrecy of the operation is what ensured its remarkable success through the outstanding element of surprise, adding that the Operation has expanded and extended to include more than one front and battleground.
The Resistance leader confirmed that "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the fact that no one knew about it is clear proof that this battle is entirely Palestinian and initiated for the sake of the people of Palestine and their cause and has nothing to do with any regional or international file."
"This battle is beyond reproach," Sayyed Nasrallah added, stressing that it is "one of the clearest and purest examples of fighting in the path upheld for the sake of God."
According to Hezbollah leader, "The unfolding events in Al-Aqsa Flood are clear proof that Iran does not have any mandate at all over the Resistance factions" and "the real decision-makers are the leaders of the Resistance and its freedom fighters."
In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood further exposed the weakness and frailty of the Israeli entity” and that it truly is “weaker than a spider’s web.”
He continued to say that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood pushed the cause of occupied Palestine back to the front for the whole world to see.

What preceded Operation Al-Aqsa Flood?
In this context, Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted the hardships that the Palestinian people had to endure before October 7, saying, "The circumstances in the last [few] years in Palestine were very tough, especially under Benjamin Netanyahu's fascist, idiotic, stupid, and monstrous government."
He added, "You and the entire world are well acquainted with the suffering of the Palestinian people for more than 75 years," however, "the extremist government escalated its arbitrary measures against prisoners," further deteriorating the already dire humanitarian situation.
"More than two million people living in Gaza have been experiencing difficult conditions [for more than 20 years," Hezbollah Secretary-General said, adding that the world did not bother to bring an end to their suffering.
The Resistance leader also pointed to the expansionist policies carried out by the Israeli government, which further increased the risks of forceful displacement in the occupied West Bank.
He also highlighted the increased oppressive and tyrannical policies carried out by the occupation which necessitated "a major event which would shake the usurping entity [to its core]," as well as its "arrogant backers, especially Washington and London."
The US role in the war on Gaza
On the US role in the brutal war on the Gaza Strip, Sayyed Nasrallah clarified that the Biden administration "hurried [to send] its President, secretaries, and generals" to make sure that the Israeli occupation survives the aftermath of the Operation, allowing it to "stand back up" after receiving a mighty blow on October 7.
He emphasized that the occupation "has still not been able to regain the initiative."
The Resistance leader confirmed that Washington's rushing to support the occupation revealed its "weakness" and "fragility".
He then questioned "Israel's" ability to sustain its existence considering that it asked for $10 billion in aid from the US on the first day of confrontations. He also pointed to the great number of US military officials that headed to occupied Palestine to assist "Israel", as well as the vast number of weapons sent to the occupation, all of which show that "Israel" is not able to independently "stand on its feet."
"Where is "Israel", which boasts about having the strongest army in the world?

From day one, "Israel" requested new weapons from the United States... Is this a strong entity that is capable of standing on its own feet?"

According to Sayyed Nasrallah, “What is happening in Gaza reveals the direct American responsibility for all this killing accompanied by US hypocrisy, and it also reflects the brutal and barbaric nature of the usurping entity that they planted in our region.”
He also affirmed that "Washington is entirely responsible for the ongoing war in Gaza, while “Israel” is merely a tool for execution, stressing that “America is the side preventing the cessation of the aggression against Gaza and rejecting any ceasefire decision."
As a matter of fact, the Americans are the ones running the war in Gaza, according to Sayyed Nasrallah, “which instigated the Islamic Resistance in Iraq to initiate attacks on the American occupation bases in Iraq and Syria,” describing it as "a wise and courageous decision."
Israeli blunders persist
"One of the biggest mistakes that the Israelis committed and continue to commit is setting far-reaching goals that they cannot achieve or reach, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed.
He went on to compare the Israeli objective of eliminating Hamas to the entity's objective of "crushing the Resistance in Lebanon" in 2006 and retrieving the two abducted Israeli prisoners "without engaging in negotiations or [prisoners] exchange," which it failed to achieve, and the same scenario is being repeated in Gaza as the Israelis fail to adapt or learn from the mistakes they commit.
The fact that "Israel" is more than ready to murder civilians, children, and women in Gaza indiscriminately and destroy entire residential blocs shows that the occupation is ready to cross all red lines.
In another context, Sayyed Nasrallah hailed the valorous operation the Palestinian Resistance fighters are carrying out. "When a Resistance fighter advances and places an explosive on the hull of a tank, how will the Israeli enemy deal with this caliber of fighters?"

He also highlighted the "hourly and daily incoming footage from Gaza, in other words, the scenes of men, women, and children coming out from under the rubble still expressing support for the Resistance."
These incidents say clearly to "the Zionists that you will not be able to achieve any results through killing (civilians) and committing massacres."
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood; a pivotal milestone
On the aftermath of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah highlighted the change in the regional dynamics and emphasized that "the post-operation era is not the same as before it, and this demands that everyone assume their responsibilities."
On the operation, he spoke of two primary objectives: "halting the aggression on Gaza and ensuring the victory of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, especially Hamas."
Hezbollah chief asserted that "a victory in Gaza is a victory for the Palestinian people, for the Palestinian prisoners, for all of Palestine and al-Quds, for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and for the peoples of the region, especially those in neighboring countries."
Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the Arab states, saying, "You must take action to stop the aggression on Gaza; mere condemnation is not enough. Sever your relations with the occupation entity and recall your ambassadors."
Reflecting on past strategies, he recalled how "previously, the call was to cut off oil supplies to America, but today, we unfortunately ask for a halt in exports to Israel."
Sayyed Nasrallah then questioned the Arab governments, "Do you not possess enough power to even open the Rafah Crossing?"
On Yemen, Hezbollah's Secretary-General pointed out that the Yemeni people, despite all foreign threats and warnings, including by Americans, have embarked on several initiatives and targeted the occupation entity with missiles and drones."
"Even if they were downed, these missiles and drones will eventually reach Eilat and the Israeli military bases in the south of Palestine," he said.
An all-out war is a realistic outcome
Addressing comments assuming that he will declare in his speech that Hezbollah has officially joined the battle, Sayyed Nasrallah affirmed that the Resistance in Lebanon already joined in the battle on October 8, just one day after the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.

Emphasizing the strategic importance of the Lebanese front, the Resistance leader stressed that "what is happening on the Lebanese front today is very crucial, impactful, and unprecedented in the history of the entity."

He described the situation on the southern Lebanese front as a concealed but potent confrontation, saying that "since October 8, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has been waging a real battle that is only felt by those who are actually on the frontlines on the Lebanese-Palestinian border area," highlighting that Hezbollah's current battle is "distinct in its conditions, objectives, measures, and targets" from previous periods.
Sayyed Nasrallah provided insight into the tactical shifts prompted by the Resistance, stating, "The Lebanese front has significantly drawn off a large part of the Israeli forces that would have been directed against Gaza, pulling them toward us" and declared that the developments on the Lebanese front will not be left at their current state.
He highlighted the implications of a passive stance, saying, "If our stance was merely political solidarity and demonstrations, then the Israelis would be at ease at the northern borders and their forces would have proceeded to Gaza."
The leader of Hezbollah accentuated the military pressure exerted by the Resistance in Lebanon, saying, "The Lebanese front has succeeded in luring in a third of the Israeli army to our border." He noted the caliber of the forces engaged, revealing that "a significant portion of the Zionist forces stationed on the northern front are elite troops" and added that "half of the Israeli naval capabilities currently positioned in the Mediterranean are off the coasts of Lebanon and Haifa" and away from Gaza.
Continuing on the same point, Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted the strategic impact of the front in Lebanon, pointing out that it is unequivocal, as it forced the Israeli occupation to deploy a "third of its army" away from Gaza and toward the northern Palestinian border.
He also revealed that Hezbollah's operations pushed Israelis to push "a quarter of their aerial forces near Lebanon and direct almost half of their anti-air systems toward the Lebanese front."

Highlighting the psychological impact of the Lebanese Resistance's actions, he stated that "the operations along the border have induced a state of concern, tension, and panic within the enemy's leadership, causing a deterrent effect, and this sentiment is mirrored by the Americans."
He underlined the serious implications for "Israel" if the tensions were to escalate, emphasizing that "the enemy is apprehensive about the potential of this front intensifying further or spiraling into an extensive war," stressing that these concerns are legitimate and present a "very real possibility, and hence the enemy must account for this."
Concluding his message with a stern warning, Sayyed Nasrallah stated, "The Resistance operations in the south serve as an indication to the enemy, which may consider attacking or launching a preemptive operation, that you will be committing the biggest mistake in your history."

Sayyed Nasrallah to the US: We are all set for your fleets
Recent media reports, most of which from Western outlets, suggested that Hezbollah was warned by foreign powers, especially Americans, against joining the battle.
Commenting on this point, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that Hezbollah received threats and messages warning the Resistance from engaging in the confrontations, but he stressed that these warnings were worthless for the party, which will never change its position.
"From day one, we were warned that if we opened a front in the south, American planes and warships would target us. However, this threat has never altered our stance," he stressed.
In this context, he addressed the Americans directly with a defiant message, "Your fleets do not scare us, nor have they ever, and we are all set for them."

In a stern warning, Sayyed Nasrallah declared that the Lebanese Resistance is ready for any eventuality, saying, "All possibilities on our Lebanese front are open and all options are on the table, and we could resort to them at any time," adding, "We must all be ready for any scenarios that may arise."

Also addressing the Americans, he said, "You can stop the aggression against Gaza because it is the aggression you unleashed, and whoever wants to prevent a regional war must hasten to stop this aggression."

He went on to say, "Those who defeated you in the early eighties are still alive, and today their children and grandchildren stand alongside them," adding, "If war breaks out in the region, neither your [US] fleets nor aerial forces will be of any use."
"The one who will pay the price will be ... your interests, your soldiers, and your fleets," he concluded on this point.
Hezbollah leader also issued a stark warning to the Israeli occupation about the continued strikes against civilians in Lebanon, asserting that such actions "will lead us back to the 'civilian for civilian' equation."
Sayyed Nasrallah addresses the Palestinians: Gaza will come out triumphant
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also addressed the Palestinian people and all the honorable Resistance fighters in the region, saying, "We still need time, but we are winning by scoring points. This is how we triumphed in 2006, and, in Gaza, this is how the Resistance in the West Bank has achieved its accomplishments."
He underscored that "this battle is one of endurance, patience, resilience, and accumulating achievements, as well as preventing the enemy from attaining its goals," emphasizing the need to make every effort possible to halt the aggression on Gaza and ensure the victory of the Resistance there.
He concluded with a message of resolve and hope, "Our responsibility, steadfastness, and patience will, God willing, result in absolute victory," affirming, "Gaza will be victorious, and Palestine will come out triumphant."
Greetings of blessings and condolences to martyrs' families
Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the families of the martyrs saluting them for their fallen loved ones. He also extended his blessings and condolences to all the families of every martyr fallen in any place in the world as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The Resistance leader also paid tribute to the legendary people of Gaza, who are unparalleled in the world, saying, "No words can express the greatness, steadfastness, and patience of the people of Gaza, and the same goes for the people of the West Bank."
He also thanked and saluted the Iraqi and Yemeni forces that joined in on Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
