Hezbollah warns 'serious consequences' if Israelis expands aggressions
Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General, Naim Qassem, stated in an interview with NBC that Hezbollah's involvement is aimed at easing pressure on Gaza and thwarting "Israel's" objectives.
Sheikh Naim Qassem, Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General, warned of "serious consequences" should "Israel" escalate the scope of its aggressions.
"Of course, Hezbollah participates for the sake of lowering the pressure on Gaza. And for the sake of preventing Israel from achieving its objectives. In addition, as a clear message that if you expanded there will be serious consequences," Qassem told NBC.
All options on the table
Last Friday, Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, declared in a speech that the Lebanese Resistance is ready for any eventuality, saying "All possibilities on our Lebanese front are open and all options are on the table, and we could resort to them at any time," adding, "We must all be ready for any scenarios that may arise."

He warned the US that "if war breaks out in the region, neither your [US] fleets nor aerial forces will be of any use."
Hezbollah leader also issued a stark warning to the Israeli occupation about the continued strikes against civilians in Lebanon, asserting that such actions "will lead us back to the 'civilian for civilian' equation."

Amos in Beirut
Earlier today, visiting US envoy Amos Hochstein stated in a press conference in Beirut that the US is 'concerned' about the possibility of the conflict in Gaza spreading into Lebanon.
He emphasized the importance of restoring calm along the southern border and highlighted it as a top priority for both Lebanon and "Israel."
"The United States does not want to see conflict in Gaza escalating and expanding into Lebanon," Hochstein told reporters in Beirut.
"Restoring calm along the southern border is of utmost importance to the United States and it should be the highest priority for both Lebanon and Israel," he added.
