ICJ to hold Nicaragua case against Berlin on facilitating genocide
After Nicaragua filed a lawsuit against Germany at the ICJ for facilitating the Israeli genocide in Gaza, the high court has revealed hearings will take place next month.
The International Court of Justice will hold hearings in Nicaragua's case, accusing Germany of complicity in the Gaza genocide starting next month.
Nicaragua accused Germany two weeks ago of enabling genocide in Gaza in a lawsuit brought before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for supporting "Israel" and blocking financing for the UN Palestinian refugee agency.
The Central American country officially filed a case at the ICJ against Germany for supporting "Israel" financially and militarily.
"Germany is facilitating the commission of genocide and, in any case, has failed in its obligation to do everything possible to prevent the commission of genocide," Nicaragua asserted in a petition issued by the court in The Hague.
The ICJ revealed that the first hearings for both countries in court would take place between April 8 and 9.
“The hearings will be devoted to the request for the indication of provisional measures contained in Nicaragua’s Application,” the ICJ said.

Nicaragua taking Germany, Canada, UK, Netherlands to ICJ for genocide
In early February, the Nicaraguan government started proceedings to take Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Canada to the ICJ for their complicity in the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza by providing the Israeli occupation with the weapons and means to carry out the horrendous act.
The executive authority in Nicaragua published an official statement in which it revealed that it warned the governments of said Western powers that they might be jointly complicit in the "flagrant and systemic violations" of the Convention on Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and international humanitarian law in the Gaza Strip.
Nicaragua urged the four states to immediately cease the provision of arms, munitions, and technologies to "Israel" because it might use them to facilitate or commit violations of the Genocide Convention in Gaza.
Nicaragua asked the court to take immediate interim action against Germany before the issue was thoroughly investigated by judges.
