Israeli occupation Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai pointed out that "Israel" is in a period of escalation and that there is a massive increase in the number of security warnings, Israeli media reported.
In an interview with the Israeli Channel 12, Shabtai indicated that the problem of the police is with operations carried out by fida'is, pointing out that it is not possible to station a police officer in every corner.
The commissioner said that recent weeks have witnessed a significant increase in the number of security warnings, adding that the occupation police forces fear warnings that they are not aware of, such as fida'is.
Shabtai underlined that the current period is tense and there are many indications regarding the possibility of an increase in the danger of the situation at all levels, specifically the increase of individual operations.
He went on to say that he does not see any problem in Israeli who can bear arms to shoot a target when forced, since it is not possible to station a police officer in every corner.
"I did not come here in vain, and I have tried to refrain from giving interviews for the time being, but if there is anything that keeps me awake, it is the situation we have reached," he said.
