The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli aggression since October 7 has risen to 29,410, in addition to 69,465 injuries.

In 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 9 massacres against families in Gaza, killing 97 and injuring 132, said the ministry, adding that some of the victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, with the occupation preventing the search and rescue missions of the ambulance and civil defense teams from approaching the affected areas.

In a recent development, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that 26 people were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli airstrike on two residential homes in al-Zawayda and al-Nusseirat in the central part of the Gaza Strip early this morning.

The Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Dalaeis family, west of al-Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the death and injury of dozens. The casualties were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the nearby city of Deir al-Balah.

In addition, injuries were reported at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital due to the targeting of a house belonging to al-Thabet family in al-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Barawi family in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and many family members are still under the rubble, as per our correspondent.

Our correspondent added that dozens of martyrs fell victim to the intensive and extensive targeting of several houses in the Rafah area at night. Artillery fire also targeted one of the towers in the city of Hamad, west of Khan Younis.

Israeli occupation forces also targeted the vicinity of Salah al-Din Gate, located south of the city of Rafah, and conducted raids in the northeastern areas of the city.

An Israeli raid targeted a house in the al-Geneina neighborhood, situated east of Rafah. Press sources report renewed Israeli bombing on the Shaboura camp in the central area of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, following a series of raids targeting homes in the city center.

Resistance sources to Al Mayadeen: IOF advance in Gaza City halted

Israeli occupation forces have failed for the third consecutive day to advance into the depths of al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southern part of Gaza City, according to sources in the Palestinian Resistance who spoke to Al Mayadeen on Thursday.

The sources further mentioned that the occupation forces brought in significant reinforcements to the southern entrance of al-Zaytoun neighborhood, especially noting that the IOF have been attempting to advance toward the heart of the neighborhood since Tuesday morning.

The source mentioned that the IOF are employing more than 70 military vehicles in their attack on the neighborhood, including tanks, armored vehicles, and bulldozers. Additionally, an armored infantry battalion with approximately 500 IOF soldiers is involved in the failed advance.

Additionally, the Resistance is efficiently utilizing sniper rifles, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and anti-armor weaponry, the source stated.

He underscored that numerous civilians insist on staying in their residences, rejecting "evacuation" directives, even amid the intense airstrikes during the night and the forceful artillery bombardment.

The source also noted that the Israeli military is hindering ambulance teams from evacuating both the martyrs and the wounded, whether they are inside their houses or on the streets.

It is worth noting that the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip continues to engage in violent confrontations against the occupation forces, especially in Khan Younis and al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and Israeli losses are projected to increase nearly five months into the aggression.
