Israeli officers warn of increased threat of Radwan force incursion
Israeli Northern Command officers have raised alarms over a growing threat of a potential ground incursion by Hezbollah along the northern border of occupied Palestine. According to a report by the Israeli news outlet Walla, the officers described the threat as "more realistic than ever before."
The officers highlighted that Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force remains capable of launching a coordinated attack, including attempts to infiltrate Israeli settlements or military positions.
They emphasized that those who believe Hezbollah is not training to breach the northern border are "mistaken and delusional." The officers urged that everyone should operate under the assumption that Hezbollah possesses the capability to infiltrate, plant their flag in a settlement or military post, and set buildings ablaze.
This comes after the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shared a document with northern mayors detailing the "Updated Scenario" for an all-out war with Hezbollah, according to The Times of Israel.
