Protests erupted on Monday in several countries around the world in support of the Resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, and in condemnation of the Israeli occupation's war in Gaza and attacks on Lebanon.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon has intensified significantly in recent days, following the Israeli massacre in Beirut’s Southern Suburb and the terrorist attack carried out by mass-detonating pagers and two-way radios.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 100 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Monday.

A residential building in a densely populated area in Beirut's Southern Suburb was bombed by an Israeli jet on Friday, killing 51 people, including women and children, according to the latest figures from Lebanon's Ministry of Health.

Protesters in Toronto, Canada, affirmed on Monday their rejection of "the terrorism campaign that Israel is waging against the Lebanese people" and condemned the complicity of Canada and other Western nations in the genocide being committed by "Israel" in Gaza and the recent terrorist attacks in Lebanon.

They also called on the Canadian government to suspend all arms deals with the "Israeli occupation state" and criticized what they described as "the Canadian government's failure to support a ceasefire in Gaza."

How much more proof do our leaders need? They're literally saying the quiet part out loud...

Sunday protests

Similarly, the French capital, Paris, witnessed a protest on Sunday in which participants denounced the ongoing Israeli bombings in Lebanon and war on Gaza, with members of the French parliament joining in.

French parliamentarian Sophia Chikirou called for sending a strong message to "Israel," stating that it cannot continue committing war crimes in Palestine and Lebanon.

She added that she "will not tolerate what is happening in Gaza and Lebanon, which amounts to genocide, nor the developments that threaten to ignite a full-scale regional war." Chikirou expressed deep shock at the methods used by the occupation, saying, "We are even more shocked by France's silence."

Meanwhile, MP Thomas Portes stated, "Macron knows that what the Israeli army did in Lebanon is not a military operation to fight terrorists as claimed, but rather to kill innocent people. If he seeks a solution in Gaza and Lebanon, he should listen to the people."

Dozens of activists also protested in front of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) headquarters, demanding freedom and justice for the Palestinian people, an end to the ongoing Israeli genocide, and rejecting the repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

According to media reports, the protesters accused the news outlet of double standards in its coverage of the Israeli assaults on Lebanon.
