IOF admit to death of two soldiers in northern Gaza
As the Israeli occupation military persists in its atrocities in northern Gaza, Palestinian Resistance factions continue to deal damage to invading Israeli forces.
The Israeli occupation's military admitted Tuesday to the killing of two of its soldiers during battles in northern Gaza.
One of the dead soldiers was a deputy company commander in the Nahal Brigade’s 932nd Battalion, from Eli, as per Israeli media. The second was a company commander in the same battalion, from al-Quds.
The Israeli army also reported that two additional soldiers from the 932nd Battalion were seriously wounded in the same incident in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza.
The two fatalities bring the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza's invasion to 397, as per the Israeli media.
Earlier on the same day, the Israeli army confirmed that two soldiers from the Nahal Brigade’s reconnaissance unit were seriously wounded in battles in northern Gaza. They were evacuated to Israeli hospitals for medical treatment.
In a separate development, the Israeli army claimed that its "guidelines for soldiers" had been "sharpened" following another staggering violation of human rights amid the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza in which Israeli troops opened fire on a UN World Food Programme (WFP) convoy in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday.
Simultaneously, the WFP stated that the convoy, consisting of three vehicles with eight staff members, came under fire from Israeli troops "despite having received all of the necessary clearances from Israeli authorities."
The WFP condemned the incident, calling it "unacceptable," and noted that it was just the latest example of the "complex and dangerous working environment that WFP and other agencies are operating in today." The organization also called for improvements in security conditions to allow aid operations to continue.
According to the WFP, at least 16 bullets hit the convoy, but fortunately, none of the staff were injured.
IOF soldiers facing 12 war crime probes abroad since October 7, 2023
12 investigations have been launched against Israeli soldiers in connection with war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, "Israel's" Channel 12 reported. These probes, initiated in various countries: Brazil, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia, Ireland, and Cyprus, have intensified scrutiny of "Israel's" military actions and sparked significant political debate.
The report is based on data presented on Sunday to a security cabinet subcommittee headed by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
The soldiers under investigation were advised by Israeli authorities to leave the countries conducting the probes to avoid legal repercussions. To date, no arrests have been made.
One notable case concerns a soldier who was involved in the demolition of civilian homes in Gaza as part of the Israeli occupation's genocidal campaign. Brazilian authorities ordered an investigation into his actions, forcing him to flee the country, based on the recommendations of Israeli authorities.
In fact, Israeli media highlighted cases where four soldiers were investigated in four countries: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and France. The investigations stem from complaints filed by the Palestinian organization Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), which actively monitors the movements of Israeli soldiers abroad and seeks legal action against them.
Channel 13 commented saying, "These investigations mark the beginning of a reality that will accompany us for a long time."
