IOF announce rocket launch from Gaza
Al Mayadeen's Gaza bureau chief says occupation forces announced news of rockets being launched from Gaza, adding that they fell in the sea across from Yafa.
Al Mayadeen's Gaza bureau chief said on Saturday that occupation forces announced news of rocket launches from Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces further said that the rockets fell in the sea across from Yafa. Social media activists shared videos of smoke billowing out of the sea across from Yafa's shores.
Our correspondent said that the rockets' launch was triggered by unfavorable weather conditions.
Nonetheless, the IOF announced that emergency sirens were not activated, and that no missiles were launched to intercept the rocket in accordance with the occupation forces' policy. Israeli pundits have reported that the Israeli leadership are currently pondering whether or not to retaliate against the launch.
This development highlights yet again the fragility of the Iron Dome, which could not detect the rocket launch.
It is noteworthy that the US Congress had passed $1 billion in aid to "Israel's" Iron Dome in September.

Palestinian resistance factions announced last week the conclusion of their joint military exercises, Al-Rukn Al-Shadid 2, four days after their start.
Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif Al-Qanou praised the exercises, saying they reflected the coordination between the military wings of the Palestinian resistance factions.
"The exercises reflected the military wings' ability and preparedness to confront any possible aggression on our people and protect them in Al-Quds, the West Bank, and in prison," Al-Qanou said on Twitter.
