Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces launched at dawn, Sunday, a large military operation in Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.

Our reporter said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians suspected of carrying out the "Homesh" shooting operation, noting that all four of the arrested are active members in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, one of whom is a former prisoner.

The occupation claimed that its forces managed to make the arrests with the aid of the Shin Bet. The shooting was carried out near the "Homesh" settlement, north of Nablus, on Thursday, and resulted in one settler being killed, with two others injured.

The IOF announced that the campaign resulted in the arrest of four Palestinians. Two M-16s, a Carlo submachine gun, and the automobile used in the operation were allegedly found in the process.

Local sources told SAFA news agency that the IOF broke into the house of Sheikh Mohammad Yusuf Jradat, a former prisoner and senior Islamic Jihad figure, searched his house, and arrested him along with his only son.

The IOF also broke into the house of former prisoner Ibrahim Moussa Tahayneh's and wreaked havoc in it, assaulting the whole family during the search, as well as the house of Ahmad Jradat, arresting his sons Ghayth and Omar. An IOF intelligence officer told the father that his son Ghayth is the one who killed the settler.

On Friday, the IOF launched an arrest campaign and assaulted Sheikh Jarrah residents, while settlers stormed the house of a Palestinian man at dawn in Nablus, destroying his house, ganging up on him, and attempting to murder him.
