The Israeli occupation bombed Monday evening a Palestinian Resistance observation post east of Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation force launched at least two missiles at the Breach Guardians east of the Zaytoun district in the east of the Gaza Strip. No casualties were reported.

"The security and military establishments recognize that we are heading towards escalation in the Gaza Strip, which is why another battalion was reinforced in the Gaza Brigade on the eve of the [Yum Kippur] holiday," Israeli Kan public broadcaster military affairs correspondent Itay Blumenthal said.

The Israeli reporter highlighted that the occupation forces are prepared for all possibilities of escalation, including shelling.

This comes after it was reported that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on and used tear gas against the protesters at the Separation Wall east of the Gaza Strip.

This happened as protesters gathered at the eastern borders of Gaza as part of popular demonstrations in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque amid repeated Israeli violations and raids on the holy site.

The Israeli occupation's indiscriminate fire injured a young man and dozens of others suffered from suffocation due to gas inhalation.

Angry youths also set fire to rubber tires near the separation wall while Israeli occupation vehicles and snipers were deployed nearby.

According to eyewitnesses, "incendiary balloons were launched from Gaza towards settlements in the vicinity."

A similar event took place Saturday when two Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces fire in the eastern Gaza Strip, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported, noting that the occupation forces are firing and throwing tear gas bombs at ambulance crews and journalists in the Malaka area of the eastern Gaza Strip.

Our correspondent reported that the demonstrators are working to launch a new batch of incendiary balloons towards the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip.

Protesting for Al-Aqsa

Dozens of Palestinians are protesting for the 11th day in a row in response to the call of the "Revolutionary Youth," who have begun gathering in the eastern Gaza Strip, preparing to set fire to rubber tires in defiance of the occupation, in support of Al-Aqsa and to condemn settlers' incursions into its courtyards, and in support of the prisoners.

Local Palestinian media reported that three young men were injured in the leg area in the Malaka refugee camp area, noting that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the young demonstrators, some of whom suffocated.

Young men set fire to rubber tires in the Malaka area, east of the city of Rafah, in an attempt to block the view of the occupation soldiers to prevent the targeting of peaceful demonstrators.

For its part, Israeli media said that Palestinian youths launched dozens of "incendiary balloons" towards the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli sources reported that "an Israeli military jeep was directly hit by a bullet fired from the eastern Gaza Strip."

The Israeli Army Radio claimed that "dozens of Palestinians are using explosive devices and trying to damage the security fence east of Gaza." Other Israeli sources also indicated that a fire broke out in the forests of the so-called "Netiv Haasara" area in the northern Gaza Strip, caused by an incendiary balloon launched from Gaza.
