Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the situation is dire in northern Gaza amid the ongoing genocide, war of extermination, and ethnic cleansing targeting civilians, mainly children and women, for the 23rd consecutive day.

Our correspondent reported a chilling reality in northern Gaza, stating that anyone injured today is effectively deemed a martyr due to the absence of any assistance or rescue efforts. The relentless Israeli violence has created a landscape where medical aid is nonexistent, leaving the wounded without hope for survival.

He also noted that Israeli occupation forces have evacuated all shelters in northern Gaza, forcibly displacing individuals and preventing Palestinians from moving freely, while cutting off access to water, medicine, and food supplies.

Israeli occupation forces targeted several Palestinians in the courtyard of Al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia area, resulting in the killing of one individual and injuries to others.

In Shuja'iyyah neighborhood in Gaza City, an Israeli drone struck a gathering of civilians on Al-Nazzaz Street, leading to the killing of three people and injuries to additional bystanders. The vicinity around the Martyrs Clinic in al-Zeitoun was also bombed.

Our correspondent reported that Israeli artillery has intensified its shelling of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, with bombardments continuing across various areas in northern Gaza, extending to Gaza City itself.

In another incident, a child was injured by fire from an Israeli drone east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Moreover, Israeli artillery heavily shelled areas in the northwest of Rafah city in southern Gaza, destroying several homes in the process. This destruction coincided with fierce airstrikes in the eastern part of Rafah.

It is worth noting that the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has risen to 42,924, along with 100,833 injuries, according to a report from Gaza's health ministry released on Saturday.
