IOF bombs Masyaf, martyrs 5 Syrians: Damascus
The Syrian SANA agency reports that the Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli aggression on Masyaf, Western Hama.
The Israeli occupation forces have launched an airstrike from the Syrian coast, West of Baniyas, with projectiles landing in several sites in central Syria, the Syrian Defense Ministry said late Friday.
"The air defenses have intercepted the hostile missiles and downed the majority of them," Damascus added.
The ministry also revealed that the Israeli aggression martyred five Syrians, including one civilian. The airstrike also injured seven locals, including a little girl.
"The Syrian air defenses were highly effective in several areas against the barrage of Israeli missiles, and the air defense force was able to intercept the majority of them," SANA reported, noting that several projectiles landed in farmland and caused damage to civilian properties in the countryside of Masyaf.

The latest Israeli aggression took place on April 27, when SANA reported that the Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Damascus and killed four soldiers and wounded three others.
"The Israeli enemy launched rocket volleys targeting Damascus from the direction of Tabariyya," a Syrian Defense Ministry source said, stressing that air defenses downed most rockets.
The military source added that in addition to the four soldiers who were killed and three who were wounded, some material damage was reported.
