According to the military, the two soldiers were killed after being targeted by an anti-tank rocket in Khan Younis.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed that two of its soldiers were killed during battles in southern Gaza, raising the number of its killed troops since October 7 to 566.
The occupation military identified the killed soldiers as Sgt. First Class Adi Eldor of the Maglan unit, and Sgt. First Class (res.) Alon Kleinman.
According to the military, the two soldiers were killed after being targeted by an anti-tank rocket in Khan Younis.
Seeking to conceal the extent of its losses, the Israeli occupation military is imposing strict censorship on the accurate figures of its casualties during the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, but footage published by the military media of the Palestinian Resistance factions indicates that the losses incurred are much greater than officially declared.
In a related context, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported last week that the Israeli occupation military has treated about 13,000 injured troops since October 7.
As a portion of the injured were discharged after receiving treatments, 2,830 troops remain in hospitals in ongoing treatment, the newspaper mentioned.
