The Israeli occupation forces blew up the family home of prisoner Hamid Kayed Sabbah, and demolished the family home of prisoner Ziad Jibril Al-Safadi, in the village of Urif, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that a large number of IOF, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the village of Urif, surrounded the home of Sabbah’s family, and forcefully evacuated the family and the neighboring homes, before blowing up the apartment which used to house 4 families of 16 individuals.

During the same raid, the occupation forces also demolished the family home of al-Safadi.

It is worth noting that the two detainees had been detained before the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. As such, the crime of demolishing and bombing the homes of the families of martyrs and detainees is classified as part of the “collective punishment” policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in clear violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Moreover in Nablus, the IOF used drones to strike two locations: a site on Amman Street and another in Balata Refugee Camp, east of Nablus.
