IOF detain liberated PFLP leader Khalida Jarrar, others in West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces carried out a widespread detention campaign across the West Bank, detaining journalist Hamad Taqatqa and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's leader, Khalida Jarrar.
The Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn on Tuesday, the prominent leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine from the West Bank, and liberated detainee, Khalida Jarrar, as well as journalist Hamad Taqatqa, from their homes amid a large-scale detention campaign.
The arrest came after IOF stormed the city of al-Bireh, adjacent to Ramallah, in the West Bank, raided Jarrar's house, and detained her, after searching for her house.

Jarrar is the most prominent leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the second-largest faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and was, in the past, elected as a member of the former Palestinian Legislative Council.
The occupation released Khalida Jarrar in September 2021, after two years of detention, and charged her with belonging to the liberation movement, the PFLP, which has been dubbed a "terrorist organization" by the Israeli occupation.
Simultaneously, the IOF detained liberated detainee Ihsan Shtayyeh in Ramallah, and liberated detainee Rashad Karaja, who serves as the head of the Safa Village Council, after they raided their homes, according to Quds News Network.
In the same context and part of the same detention campaign launched by the occupation, the IOF also detained Palestinian journalist Hamad Taqatqa from his home in Beit Fajjar, south of Beit Lahm.

These detention campaigns come within the framework of the widespread campaign of arrests and raids carried out by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.
Resistance confronts IOF incursion into Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm
Al Mayadeen's sources in the occupied West Bank confirmed that the Palestinian Resistance fighters managed to detonate an explosive device against an Israeli military force attempting to infiltrate the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarm on Tuesday.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent pointed out that the Israeli incursion into Tulkarm and the Nur Shams camp, following a similar incursion on Monday, is extensive, involving a large number of military vehicles, bulldozers, reconnaissance aircraft, and widespread deployment in several areas simultaneously.
Our correspondent mentioned that intense confrontations persist in the camp, particularly in the al-Maslakh neighborhood, where the Israeli forces have imposed a security cordon.
He confirmed that Israeli bulldozers destroyed the infrastructure in the al-Manshiya neighborhood of the Nur Shams camp.
Additionally, Israeli forces were targeted with another explosive device near the al-Mahakem roundabout in the city of Tulkarm.

Sources told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli forces deployed sniper teams on some buildings around the Nur Shams camp, and confirmed that the Israeli forces raided several homes during the incursion, destroying some of their belongings. The media sources further mentioned that the Israeli forces began demolishing a civilian's house inside the Nur Shams camp and bombed the house of Youssef al-Zindeeq.
Moreover, a building that was under construction was reportedly targeted by the IOF with "Energa” shells and volleys of bullets.

It was also reported that a Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during the incursion.
The Nur Shams refugee camp is located in the northwest of the occupied West Bank, approximately 3 kilometers east of the center of Tulkarm city and about 30 kilometers southwest of the Jenin camp, where an Israeli infantry force was targeted with an explosive device during a raid of the al-Damj neighborhood.
Later, sources told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation forces were preventing ambulances from advancing to the Nur Shams camp to aid the wounded.
