IOF extend detention of family members of Al-Quds shootings executors
Israeli occupation forces forcibly expelled the families of the Palestinians that carried out Al-Quds shootings and sealed their homes.
The Prisoners' Information Office announced on Sunday that the Israeli occupation authorities have extended the detention of the mother of martyr Khairy Alqam, the Palestinian who carried out Al-Quds shooting earlier on Friday, until next Wednesday.
The Israeli measure comes after occupation police sealed yesterday night the house of the martyr following the decisions adopted by the smaller forum of the security cabinet yesterday.
According to Israeli media, the occupation police "evacuated Alqam's family from their home, arrested his family members, and sealed all the house's entrances and doors."

The occupation authorities also extended on Saturday evening the detention of the father, mother, and brother of Mahmoud Muhammad Aleiwat (13 years), the Palestinian who allegedly carried out the Silwan shooting in occupied Al-Quds and was arrested by IOF after shooting and wounding him, until Sunday.
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Firas Jabrini, said in press statements that "the [Israeli] intelligence extended their detention until Sunday," noting that his brother Omar is prevented from meeting the lawyer.

Yesterday, the occupation forces stormed the house of the Aleiwat family in Karm Al-Sheikh in the town of Silwan, arrested his father, mother, and brother Omar, and took them to Al-Maskubiya police station west of occupied Al-Quds.
Jabrini explained that he was able to visit 13-year-old Aleiwat after obtaining a court decision, and upon his visit, the doctors at Hadassah Medical Center informed him that he had undergone an operation.
It is noteworthy that the shooting operations against the occupation have been ongoing since Thursday.
After the two Al-Quds operations, which took place less than 24 hours apart and left a number of dead and wounded Israeli settlers, the IOF announced on Saturday evening that a shooting attack took place near a restaurant at the "Almog Junction" near the city of Ariha in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Al-Amiri blamed the Israeli entity and its supporters for the recent developments.

"We renew our firm and principled position on the Palestinian cause, which was and still is a pivotal issue," Al-Sahhaf concluded.
