Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported a series of intense Israeli occupation airstrikes that struck a gas station and warehouses containing medical supplies in Beirut’s Southern Suburb.

These airstrikes are part of a broader wave of bombardments affecting neighborhoods such as al-Laylaki, al-Tahwita, Burj al-Barajneh, Haret Hreik, and the vicinity of Beirut International Airport.

The Southern Suburb has been under relentless Israeli aggression, with residential areas and critical medical resources increasingly coming under fire in one of the most intense nights the capital's suburbs have witnessed since the aggression on Lebanon began.

Footage from Al Mayadeen's camera captured the flames erupting from one of the fiercest Israeli airstrikes in the Southern Suburb.

In a related development, a power outage occurred in the eastern part of Beirut airport following an earlier strike that targeted the Mrayjeh area near the airport. Despite the ongoing bombardments, civilian flights continued to arrive and depart from the airport.

Following the attacks, power was reported to have been restored to Beirut International Airport.

However, renewed Israeli strikes persisted, bringing the number of Israeli occupation airstrikes against Beirut's southern suburbs to at least 25 in just a few hours.

In response to the Israeli occupation's escalations, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced four operations conducted from midnight Saturday into Sunday:

1- An attempted infiltration by Israeli occupation soldiers towards Khallet Shuaib in Blida was thwarted when the Resistance targeted them with artillery shells, forcing a retreat and resulting in confirmed casualties.

2- The Resistance successfully targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the Manara settlement with a rocket, achieving direct hits.

3- Additional strikes were carried out against Israeli occupation soldiers in and around the Manara settlement, launching a large barrage of missiles.

4- While Israeli forces attempted to evacuate their wounded and deceased soldiers from the Manara settlement, they were again targeted with a barrage of missiles.

Moreover, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that dozens of missiles were launched from Lebanon and Israeli media confirmed that at least 30 missiles were launched from Lebanon.

Northern Gaza comes under heavy fire

Meanwhile, as the one-year mark of "Israel's" ongoing genocidal war on Gaza approaches, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces launched over 60 raids in northern Gaza within a matter of hours.

The indiscriminate Israeli bombing spree has killed and wounded dozens of Palestinians, with children left orphaned or mutilated, and families shattered. Palestinian media reported over 30 martyrs, around 150 wounded, and dozens missing due to the Israeli occupation's raids on the northern Gaza Strip.

Furthermore in Gaza, reports indicate that 18 people were killed when an Israeli occupation airstrike targeted a mosque sheltering forcibly displaced Palestinians near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. This is yet another massacre to be added to the list of massacres that "Israel" has committed in Palestine.
