Israeli occupation forces are intensifying their raids on the northern parts of the West Bank, shooting and firing tear gas at local Palestinians in the city of Tulkarm, the Nur Shams and the Tulkarm refugee camps, as well as the town of Qusra in Nablus.
The IOF tightened their siege on Tulkarm's eastern neighborhood, imprisoning residents in their homes and detaining and interrogating them, while forcing shop owners to close their businesses and destroying the city's infrastructure.
Israeli troops have also detained several passengers at a newly set-up checkpoint on Nablus Street, which connected Tulkarm to the Nur Shams camp.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the situation in the Tulkarm camp is becoming extremely dire, with Palestinians facing a shortage of basic supplies like food, water, and medicine, as the Israeli forces chased and opened fire on anyone leaving their home or entering the camp.
The situation is similar in the Nur Shams refugee camp.
'Israel's' West Bank aggression
"Israel" launched a military campaign targeting Jenin city in the West Bank back in January, dubbed "Iron Wall", allegedly to "protect settlers and settlement outpost in the area," according to Security Minister Israel Katz.
The operation has since then displaced over 40,000 refugees who were residing in the Jenin, Nur Shams, and al-Faraa refugee camps according to UNRWA, who added that over 60% of the displacement cases were caused by Israeli forces with no judicial justification.
More than half of the Nur Shams refugee camp's 13,000 residents fled after the Israeli occupation launched its offensive targeting the camp on Saturday.
The displacement the West Bank is witnessing is the largest since the occupation of its territories in 1967, forcing UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini to sound the alarm regarding "Israel's" assault at the Munich Security Conference.
There are fears among Palestinians in the West Bank that "Israel" is trying to permanently displace them from their towns and cities, as the Knesset recently pushed a bill to rename the West Bank to "Judea and Samaria" in accordance with the region's name in the Hebrew bible.
The occupation forces deployed armored vehicles in four settlements on Sunday for the first time since 2002, as the Israeli forces intensified their overnight troop and vehicle deployments, with WAFA reporting that Israeli troops are setting up checkpoints stopping vehicles and forcing passengers through interrogations.
The Jenin assault resulted in 25 Palestinian martyrs on its 27th day, dozens of injuries, and widespread destruction of infrastructure in the camp and private property, as Israeli warplanes and drones maintained a heavy presence.
