The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 87 martyrs and 290 injured people arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, with initial reports showing that since early Monday morning, Gaza hospitals have received 53 martyrs and more than 50 wounded due to Israeli military strikes targeting civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The health ministry added that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 53,573 martyrs and 121,688 injuries since October 7, 2023, and since March 18, 2025, alone, the casualties have reached 3,427 martyrs and 9,647 injuries.
33 children and women killed in 5 hours
In the same context, the Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation has killed more than 50 people, including 33 children and women, in just five hours of bombardment today.
The Media Office further noted that these massacres coincided with statements by Yair Golan, former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, in which he admitted that "Israel" is waging war against civilians and killing children as a hobby.

The Gaza Government Media Office issued a statement holding the Israeli occupation, US administration, and all complicit nations fully responsible for these genocidal crimes, calling upon the international community, United Nations, International Criminal Court, and human rights organizations to take immediate and urgent action to stop these massacres and ensure accountability for the occupation's officials as war criminals.
This comes as "Israel" continues to escalate its war on the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the catastrophic humanitarian crisis caused by a full Israeli blockade on all humanitarian aid from entering the Strip.
Humanitarian crisis could reach worst level since 2023
Meanwhile, UNRWA warned that the Gaza Strip could face its worst humanitarian crisis since the start of the war in October 2023, stressing that "Israel" has deliberately blocked all aid supplies to Gaza for 11 consecutive weeks amid intense air, land, and sea bombardment that has resulted in hundreds of casualties and mass displacement, pushing the civilian population toward catastrophic conditions.

The UN relief organization emphasized that the only thing entering Gaza right now is bombs and nowhere in the strip remains safe for civilians.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher stated that "Israel's" allowance of just nine aid trucks into Gaza represents merely "a drop in the ocean" compared to the overwhelming need.

Children die 'left, right, and center'
Revealing the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, British surgeon Victoria Rose, currently working at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, stressed that the population is in desperate need of food and medical supplies.
Based on her firsthand observations, she told the British Channel 4 News that she had never seen people in such dire conditions before, noting that children are severely underweight and showing clear signs of malnutrition.
"They are underweight. They are showing signs of malnutrition. Their dentition is terrible, which is the first marker of inadequate nutrients and vitamins, and they are just not healing any of the horrific wounds that they had," she stated.
The British surgeon reported unprecedented levels of malnutrition among children, with severe stunting making 12-year-olds appear as young as seven.
She emphasized the catastrophic consequences of 76 days without adequate food or medical supplies, noting the hospital itself now faces imminent evacuation while serving as one of only two remaining medical facilities in Khan Younis, as Israeli military activity slowly approached the medical facility.
Upon being asked if she had seen any Hamas activity inside the hospital, the doctor stated that there was "no indication of any organized resistance in the hospital."
Rose asserted that children are dying "left, right, and center" from preventable causes, highlighting the severe need for medical assistance to enter Gaza.
"I lost a four-year-old two nights ago from an overwhelming sepsis that in the UK would not have happened because I would have had the facilities to run basic tests. I don’t have any of that," she stated.
