A Palestinian child was fatally shot on Sunday evening during a raid conducted by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.

According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), 15-year-old Ahmad Rushdi was shot in the chest by live ammunition during the Israeli raid and was transported to a nearby hospital, where the Ministry of Health later confirmed his martyrdom.

Mohammed Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, reported that the occupation forces used live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas against residents and their homes during the confrontations, leading to several cases of suffocation among the locals.

In a separate incident, WAFA reported that a Palestinian youth was injured by live gunfire and others suffered from suffocation during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Idhna, west of al-Khalil.

Muammar Tamimi, head of the PRCS in Idhna, stated that the young man was shot in the hand and taken to a hospital for treatment. Several other individuals, who experienced suffocation during the confrontations triggered by the forces’ raid on the town, were treated at the scene, he added.

WAFA noted that Israeli occupation forces have maintained daily raids on Idhna, detaining civilians for hours, interrogating them on-site, issuing threats, and keeping the town’s main entrance closed for approximately six months.

Meanwhile, the news agency said that several Palestinians suffered from suffocation during an Israeli raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of al-Khalil.

It cited local sources as saying that the occupation forces fired live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas, causing multiple suffocation cases among residents.

In other developments, Palestinian media reported that Israeli occupation forces continued raiding the homes of prisoners and detainees awaiting release in occupied al-Quds, as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between "Israel" and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed seven injuries resulting from the occupation forces' suppression of Palestinians gathered near Ofer Prison, west of Ramallah, as they awaited the release of prisoners and detainees.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported confrontations near Ofer Prison, with live ammunition heard in the area. Additional confrontations were reported in al-Dhahiriya, south of al-Khalil, where one person was injured by gunfire.
