IOF launch detention campaign in West Bank, Resistance confronts

Occupation forces raided multiple areas in the West Bank and launched a detention campaign against Palestinians.

Since the early hours of Monday, the Israeli occupation forces carried out a campaign of raids in various parts of the West Bank, detaining Palestinians as confrontations broke out.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces with a homemade explosive device during their storming of the al-Far'a camp, south of Tubas in the West Bank. On the other hand, our correspondent confirmed that the occupation army was wreaking havoc in the camp before withdrawing from it.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - al-Faraa Camp confirmed that its fighters engaged in a violent confrontation with the occupation forces in response to their storming of the camp, as they targeted them with explosive devices and a heavy barrage of bullets. 

Additionally, occupation forces carried out incursions into the towns of Surif and Sa’ir north of al-Khalil, and the Shuafat camp in occupied al-Quds. In Ramallah, occupation forces also conducted raids in the villages of Deir Qadis and Deir Bazi, as well as in the town of Kharbatha Bani Harith to the west of the city.

70 Palestinians detained from Silwad

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that occupation forces detained 70 Palestinians from the town of Silwad, northeast of the city of Ramallah, and abused them during their ongoing storming of the town. They also arrested more than 30 from the village of Kafr Nimah, west of the city.

The occupation forces fired bullets at Kroum Ashour in the city of Nablus, and local media reported that they stormed the city's old town and the occupation forces arrested a young man at the Awarta checkpoint.

In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by occupation vehicles, raided the city in the northern West Bank and carried out search campaigns in Palestinian homes shortly after withdrawing from the area. Also, the occupation forces deployed their snipers in the Street 22 area in the city of Qalqilya.

Our correspondent in the West Bank reported that the occupation forces withdrew from the town of Balaa, east of Tulkarm, where they detained a young man after assaulting him.

Alongside its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip spanning over nine months, the occupation is intensifying its daily campaign of raids and arrests across various parts of the West Bank. Meanwhile, more martyrs have fallen and others have been injured in confrontations with the occupation forces.
