IOF storms towns in West Bank, settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard
Israeli occupation forces stormed areas in the West Bank, while settlers entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, carrying out provocative acts against Palestinians.
Sources in the West Bank reported that a young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces fire at the Shweika checkpoint, north of Tulkarm. Additionally, the sources noted that on Sunday, the occupation forces stormed the Khallet al-Rai area in the city of Qalqilya.
In Areeha, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a house in the village of al-Duyouk al-Tahta, northwest of the city.
The village of al-Duyouk al-Tahta has been subjected to continuous attacks by the occupation, as part of a policy of forced displacement aimed at emptying the region of its residents to make way for settlement expansion.
At the same time, settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of al-Quds, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of settlers entered A holy al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, conducted provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed extremist rituals.
The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa and tightened their military procedures at the gates of the Old City. They turned the area into a military barracks, deploying hundreds of occupation police officers at close distances, particularly at the gates of Al-Aqsa.
West Bank Resistance confronts IOF raids
Earlier on Saturday, Palestinian Resistance fighters in the occupied West Bank confronted Israeli occupation forces that raided multiple towns in the territory on Saturday.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Beita in Nablus and were confronted by locals.
Our correspondent said that a special Israeli force, supported by several armored vehicles, stormed the town of Qalqilya, which lies on the western side of the West Bank, near several Israeli-occupied cities.
Locals also reported on a raid on the village of Odala in Nablus and the village of Kafr Sur in Tulkarm.
In the latter, a Palestinian was wounded by live Israeli gunfire near the Jabara checkpoint.
In Sinjel, Ramallah, occupation forces stormed the town on Saturday, as the Israeli government carried out its policy of maximum pressure against Palestinians in the West Bank.
Israeli settlers participated in attacks on Palestinians, as a group of illegal settlers attacked residential buildings in the Wadi Rahal, south of Beit Lahm.
