Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered a young Palestinian near the main entrance of Beitin village, northeast of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the martyr who was shot this morning by the occupation at the entrance to the town of Beitin in the West Bank is 17-year-old Haitham Hani Mubarak.

The Ministry added that “Israel” has so far refused to hand over the body of martyr Haitham Hani Mubarak.

Local Palestinian sources reported that the IOF bolstered its presence at the village's entrance, and obstructed Palestinians’ passage through the "Beit El" checkpoint.

Meanwhile, Israeli media claimed that the martyr in question was shot dead shortly after midnight Thursday after allegedly "attacking an Israeli soldier with a hammer" near the central West Bank village of Beitin, before the latter opened fire and murdered the Palestinian man, alleging that “a knife was found on the [martyr’s] body afterward”.

The IOF soldier had only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization after receiving treatment at the scene, according to Israeli media.

Moreover, dozens of Israeli military vehicles stormed the city of Nablus to facilitate the settlers’ raid of Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb) in Nablus.

Palestinians have been forced to resist the Israeli settlers' and the IOF's violence on daily basis. Settlers usually attack Palestinians and their homes, smashing citizens' vehicles, storming holy sites, throwing stones, and shooting live bullets all while being protected by the IOF.

"Dozens of IOF snipers ascended the high buildings near Qaber Youssef, while residents heard successive explosions, followed by shooting," local sources confirmed.

The Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus reported that four Palestinian youth have been injured by rubber bullets, one sustained burns in his hand, and 12 suffocated from tear gas, including a journalist.

Furthermore, “Israel” deployed drones to drop tear gas on the Balata refugee camp.

The Israeli occupation forces murdered on Tuesday dawn young Palestinian man Mohammad Saba'aneh and wounded seven others with gunfire as Palestinians confronted the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, the director of the Jenin hospital said on that day.
