IOF prison authority shuts down 'Ramon' prison, withholds families
The Israeli occupation prison administration has projected its brutality on prisoners' families.
The Israeli occupation prisons administration completely shut down “Ramon” Prison on Sunday, withheld the families of prisoners while visiting them, and arrested the sister of one of the prisoners.
This was revealed by the spokesperson for the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Hassan Abd Rabbo, who said the occupation prisons administration shut down “Ramon” prison, detained the families in the visiting room, and arrested Aseel Al-Titi, the sister of the prisoner, Sabaa Al-Titi, from the Balata refugee camp in Nablus Governorate.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs called on the International Committee of the Red Cross to take urgent and prompt action to release the families of the prisoners, check on their conditions, and facilitate their return.
On his part, the director of the Waad Association for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners, Abdullah Qandil, told Al Mayadeen that “the Ramon prisoners gave the occupation a few minutes to release the prisoner’s sister and elderly mother,” or else they will set the prison on fire.
Qandil pointed out that "the occupation claimed that the prisoner's sister attacked an Israeli female soldier with scissors and wounded her," adding that "severe tension prevails in Ramon prison in Al-Naqab desert."
It is noteworthy that the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs pointed out that the Israeli occupation prisons administration canceled the visits of the prisoners' families, which were scheduled for Monday, in the "Hadarim", "Ramon", and "Megiddo" prisons.
