Israeli media confirm that the Palestinian who carried out the operation was killed at the entrance to the illegal settlement.
Israeli media reported on Thursday that an Israeli occupation soldier was killed and another was injured in a shooting operation near the illegal settlement of "Kedumim" in the northern occupied West Bank.
The media confirmed that the Palestinian who carried out the operation was killed at the entrance to the illegal settlement.
According to Israeli news websites, occupation forces had stopped a vehicle for inspection before its driver opened fire and fled the scene on foot. Later, Israeli occupation forces chased the shooter and shot him dead.

"Israel's" public broadcaster cited occupation security sources as saying that the shooter opened fire from point-blank while his car was being searched near Qalqilya.
In the same context, The Jerusalem Post also mentioned that "there were conflicting reports about potential other incidents in the area," as the shooter fled the scene on foot toward the "Jiat" junction.
Later, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed responsibility for the operation, identifying the Palestinian youth who carried out the operation as Ahmad Yassin Ghaidhan.
The Brigades promised the occupation with more acts of resistance, underlining that whoever sows murder and crime against the Palestinian people will reap nothing but defeat.
This comes a day after Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Jenin and its camp after launching an aggression that left 12 Palestinian martyrs and dozens of injuries. The Israeli aggression was heroically confronted by Palestinian Resistance fighters who carried out a number of deadly strikes and ambushes for occupation forces as part of a battle dubbed The Fury of Jenin.
On Tuesday, Israeli media reported that a Palestinian youth was martyred after carrying out a ramming operation in "Tel Aviv" that left at least seven illegal Israeli settlers injured, including four seriously.
