IOF storm Silwad, Ramallah, conduct arrest campaign in the West Bank

Confrontations with Israeli occupation forces storming different areas across occupied Palestine and conducting arbitrary mass arrests continue.

An Israeli soldier was wounded by gunfire during an Israeli incursion into the town of Burqin.

In Silwad, Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town, and resistance fighters targeted Atara checkpoint with a homemade bomb.

The IOF also stormed several areas in Jenin, while the Palestinians confronted the occupation in Silwan town, as the former fired tear gas canisters at houses.

A campaign of arrests

Today, Thursday, the IOF launched a campaign of arrests in the West Bank, targeting a number of Palestinian citizens.

Local sources revealed that the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner Abdel Karim Anwar Mona and the Palestinian youth Ahmed Al-Sayeh from Nablus as they stormed the city.

The occupation forces also arrested journalists Muhammad Turkman and Youssef Shehadeh near the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah.

Palestinian youth Ali Mujahid Al-Amoudi was also arrested as the IOF stormed his house in Burqin, Jenin and tampered with its contents.
