Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian affirmed during a ceremony held on Sunday that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood damaged the Israeli occupation's political and security structure, an achievement only the Palestinian Resistance is capable of.

The top Iranian diplomat stated that "Israel" has seen several failures since October. The occupation failed to defeat Hamas, discover underground tunnels used by the Resistance, and release hostages, thereby resorting to the employment of intense military power. Still, the IOF failed in the face of the unyielding Resistance, which forced the occupation to turn to political solutions.

Amir-Abdollahian also reiterated that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation was executed by a liberation movement against an occupying force, saying "The United States, the Zionist regime, and some Western countries tried to introduce the October 7 operation as a terrorist act, which was dispelled by the constructive diplomacy of the resistance."

Also addressing the US, Amir-Abdollahian condemned the boundless military and political support "Israel" has been receiving, coining it a "big mistake" made clear following the occupation's failure to achieve its goals, and the West's goals in Gaza.

Moreover, Amir-Abdollahian once more emphasized that Resistance factions act on their own and do not rely on Iranian support or approval.

“Since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s genocide in Gaza, the Islamic Republic of Iran said that war is not a solution and that the resistance will act strongly,” he said.

Iranian-Palestinian solidarity echoed to the ICJ

Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi pointed out on Sunday that the Zionist entity is backed by a hegemonic global system, stressing that "this entity is a field for global arrogance." He also emphasized that "the world today is well aware that the Palestinian struggle has exposed global hypocrisy and revealed the true face of the United States and some Western countries."

There is a duty to preserve the awakening of human conscience, he said, and speak of the injustice the Palestinians are facing, "The United States represents the epitome of global evil and serves as the primary defender of the Zionist entity, which is responsible for the death of thousands of children."

Raisi pointed out that "all international forums, from the Arab League to the United Nations, have not fulfilled their responsibilities regarding what is happening in Gaza", expressing hope that they could carry out their duties away from American pressure.
