Resistance factions placing US under increasing pressure: officials
A senior US administration official sees that further displacement of residents of Gaza goes beyond disruptive and exceeds the capacity of any humanitarian organization.
An American official relayed to Sputnik on Friday that the US believes it is facing pressure alongside "Israel" through Iran via what it calls "proxy forces" in the Middle East.
"It is true, Iran continues to put pressure on Israel and the United States through its proxy forces," the official said.
It is worth noting that "Proxies" is the Western nom de guerre for most Resistance movements in the region, at least the ones Iran voices its support for, disregarding that they operate autonomously in their decision-making and action process.

Since October 7, multiple attacks against US forces have occurred at al-Asad Air Base in Iraq, al-Harir Air Base in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, al-Tanf garrison in Syria, and the US base at the Conoco natural gas field in Syria.
The US Department of Defense admitted that 56 American soldiers were injured in about 46 attacks targeting US bases and forces in the Middle East since October 17.
Zionist criminality
Iran holds "Israel" and the United States responsible for the recent atrocities committed in Gaza. Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani accused the "Zionist criminals" of initiating a new phase of violence with the backing of the American government. The statement was shared on X.

The deadly aggression resumed immediately after the conclusion of a seven-day truce between "Israel" and Gaza, which Iran supported. Kanaani placed the blame for the ongoing aggression and deaths on "Israel", the US, and other supportive governments, referring to "Israel" as an "apartheid regime".
While US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other global leaders advocated for an extension of the ceasefire to protect Palestinian civilians, Kanaani asserted that the majority of nations worldwide were calling for a complete halt to the "Zionist regime's attacks against Gaza and the West Bank."
