Iran calls for sanctioning Israeli goods, companies in support of Gaza
Nasser Kanaani decalred that states and NGO's have a greater obligation to help Palestine.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated Saturday that penalizing Israeli goods and firms is the simplest and most effective approach to criticize "Israel's" conduct in the Gaza Strip.
"Imposing sanctions against Zionist goods and companies is the easiest thing to do but is very effective," Kanaani wrote on X.

He went on to say that states and non-governmental organizations have a greater obligation to help Palestine in light of "the inaction by governments and the United Nations Security Council."
At the end of May, following a deadly attack on Rafah that killed at least 45 Palestinians, the European Union (EU) ministers engaged in a "significant" discussion on sanctioning the Israeli regime if it does not comply with international humanitarian law, Irish Foreign Minister Micheal Martin announced.
"There was a very clear consensus about the need to uphold the international humanitarian legal institutions," Martin told reporters following the Foreign Affairs Council.
Also in a post on X Saturday, Colombia's President Gustavo Petro wrote the coal exports to the occupation would be halted "until the genocide is stopped."

Congratulating the Israeli families for the release of the captives with French President Emmanuel Macron, Biden stated that the US "won't stop working until all the hostages are home and a ceasefire is reached. That's essential to happen."
Heartbreaking videos were shared on social media depicting dozens of martyrs, including children, killed by the Israeli indiscriminate bombing of the Nuseirat Refugee camp. Many of the martyrs have been turned into pieces scattered across the streets of the camp.
The Israeli occupation forces launched on Saturday numerous airstrikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported, adding that the intense bombardment resulted in dozens of casualties, with many martyrs and injured being brought to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
According to the correspondent, dozens of Israeli rockets targeted civilian homes in Nuseirat camp. Many women and children are among the casualties being transported to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital using animal-drawn carts and private vehicles due to the dire circumstances of the healthcare system
There are reports of many dead and wounded who have not yet been reached by ambulances. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll from the bombardment currently stands at 60 and is expected to continue rising. However, our correspondent has reported upwards of 80 martyrs.
