Iran denounces US full support for 'Israel'
Iran regrets the international community's silence over the Israeli aggression against the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani criticized Sunday the silence of the international community and those who claim to defend human rights in light of the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip.
On Twitter, Kanaani said the silence of the international community and human rights advocates over the Israeli crimes against Gaza is regrettable.
The Iranian Spokesperson said, "It is noteworthy that the US State Department affirmed its "full support" for Israel's right to defend itself!"
Kanaani also pointed to five-year-old martyr Alaa Qadoum, saying that the child lost her life as a result of attacks by the Apartheid regime of "Israel" on Gaza.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson considered that "it is unfortunate that false human rights advocates support the occupation regime's daily crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people under the pretext of "self-defense"!"
The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned Friday the "brutal attack by the Zionist apartheid regime on Gaza and the assassination of resistance leaders."
On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian strongly condemned the IOF attacks on the people of Gaza.
In a phone call with Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Al-Nakhalah, Amir-Abdollahian stressed that "there is no doubt that the Palestinian Resistance and Gaza's resistant people are the final winners on the battlefield."
The Iranian Foreign Minister also paid tribute to the martyrs of Palestine, including those who were martyred in the most recent brutal attack on Gaza.
On his part, Al-Nakhalah discussed with the Iranian FM the latest developments while also expressing his appreciation of the solidarity Palestine received from the people and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al-Nakhalah underlined that today, the "Zionist regime is weaker than ever, and the Resistance fighters support Gaza's residents as well as all of Palestine and the freedom of the holy Quds with both dignity and strength."
On Friday, the Israeli occupation began an aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting Al-Quds Brigades Commander Taiseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades launched an operation in response to the Israeli occupation's aggression on Gaza by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
