Amir-Abdollahian: Israeli attacks on Syria will not go unanswered
Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, strongly condemned "Israel's" repeated attacks on Syria during a press conference in Damascus, describing them as criminal activities.
In a joint press conference held in the Syrian capital on Wednesday, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian voiced Iran's vehement condemnation of "Israel's" repeated attacks on Syria, describing them as criminal activities, Tasnim reported.Â
Amir-Abdollahian affirmed that these attacks would not go unanswered. Â
Amidst mounting tensions, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that "Israel's" attacks on Syria, which have intensified since 2011, exacerbate the already volatile situation in the region.
He also stressed that the attacks have gained momentum as Syria grapples with foreign-backed terrorism.
Addressing the United States' military involvement in Syria, Amir-Abdollahian called upon American military forces to withdraw from the region.

He urged the US officials to respect the sovereignty of the region's nations and allow them to determine their own destiny.
Amir-Abdollahian's visit to Syria also included discussions on counterterrorism efforts and concerns about the reorganization of certain groups. He reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for Syria, its leadership, armed forces, and its people, emphasizing the importance of regional stability.
Syria’s Foreign Minister, Faisal al-Miqdad, echoed these sentiments and criticized the aggressive policies of the US and other Western nations against Iran and Syria. He highlighted their alleged utilization of terrorism to advance political agendas.

Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced today that several terrorist group rings linked to the Israeli entity have been dismantled throughout four regions in Iran.Â
In a statement, the ministry reported that the "sabotage cells" were part of a large "Zionist-terrorist" network that carried out various operations in Khuzestan, Mazandaran, Kermanshah, and Sistan and Baluchestan.
The announcement detailed the arrest of 14 terrorists in four provinces by Intelligence Ministry agents, as well as the confiscation of 43 strong ready-to-detonate explosives.
