The President of Iran met with Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday on the occasion of government week.
The leader expressed that Iran should not be in any conflict with its neighbors, detailing that all conflicts should be transformed into cooperation, something he believes has already been done to some extent.
Ayatollah Khamenei also cited Iran's participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the BRICS group of rising countries as two significant accomplishments in a short period of time.
"Membership in two important international agreements in a short period of time was a great success," he expressed, detailing that this shows Iran's growing influence as many regional and international alliances are not only willing but insisting that Iran join.

The Leader also expressed that sanctions against the country are "intended to take people's livelihood hostage."
During a news conference in Tehran Yesterday, Raisi said that efforts by the West to isolate Iran and bring despair to the Iranian people have been in vain, and while the country has forged strong relations, its enemies are also knocking on the door after trying to abandon it during the riots last year, after the death of the young Mahsa Amini.
Raisi continued that enemies "tried to anger the people by creating problems, but the people carried on vigilantly and with insight and disappointed the enemy." However, upon realizing that the people stood with its government and that progression did not stop, they turned to unrest.
Just earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Raisi via phone, detailing a discussion that included expanding their interaction in regional and global affairs, Iran's participation as a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as the possibility of joining BRICS.
Furthermore, Khamenei urged that sanctions be "neutralized", and that attempts be made to end them in order to help people's quality of life.
Ayatollah Khamenei also stated that it is unfortunate that the government's constructive actions are being overshadowed by livelihood issues such as high housing and rent costs.
The Leader also asked authorities to analyze the consequences of their economic actions on issues like wealth disparity, market stability, currency rate, and inflation. He also encouraged the current administration to be more vocal in presenting what they have done for the public.
