Iran Foreign Minister, PIJ chief hold talks about Palestine
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian holds talks with Palestinian Islami Jihad Secretary-General Ziyad Al-Nakhalah.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed during a call with the leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, that the Iranian people would continue supporting the Palestinian people and their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Iran will continue providing the Palestinian people and resistance with political and emotional support until the full liberation of Palestine, Amir-Abdollahian said.
Furthermore, the Iranian top diplomat highlighted how Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei focused on the Palestinian cause and the demise of the Israeli occupation during his speech on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr on Saturday.
Al-Nakhalah responded by wishing the Iranian people and government a happy Eid Al-Fitr, saluting the Iranian government and the Iranian people, as well as their support of the Palestinian cause.
He also emphasized that the Palestinian factions had a united front against the Israeli occupation and expressed his gratitude for Iran's support of the Palestinian people.
During the Eid Al-Fitr prayer sermons, Sayyed Khamenei stressed the need to "focus on solving critical issues problems and not be distracted by marginal ones," calling on the people of Iran to maintain their unity.
Simultaneously, in all Iranian cities, hundreds of thousands of residents of the capital, Tehran, flocked to Imam Khomeini's prayer hall to perform the Eid Al-Fitr prayer led by the Iranian leader Sayyed Khamenei.
