Iran has tremendously developed in past 40 years: Sayyed Khamenei
Sayyed Ali Khamenei hails the Islamic Republic's developments, achieved across all aspects, and praises the Palestinian people for their victory in Gaza.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei lauded the multifaceted development Iran has been able to achieve over the past four decades despite the obstructions placed in the way of its rise.
Speaking at the 41st International Holy Quran Competitions in the Iranian capital of Tehran, Sayyed Khamenei said the Iranian nation has been the prime example of patience and perseverance for over 40 years in the face of constant hostile plots conspired by "all the arrogant world powers" that have stood against it.
"Not only has the Iranian nation not been harmed, but it has also advanced and grown. Today’s Iran is not the Iran of 40 years ago—we have progressed in every aspect," the leader added.
In this context, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic continues to confront global arrogance, alongside other nations, particularly as its people's resolve denounces "the United States as an aggressor, a liar, a deceitful and arrogant power while proclaiming down with America.”
He further hailed the Palestinian people and their Resistance, lauding their sacrifices and inevitable victory against the Israeli occupation.
He also praised Gaza's triumph over the Israeli enemy, stressing that the achievement was paramount to prove that despite all claims of its impossibility, it was realized with God's permission, that the tiny besieged enclave would rise victorious against "Israel" and the United States.
Anything that seems impossible can be realized by the divine will. If they had said that Gaza would fight a great power like the US regime and that Gaza would prevail over it, would you have believed it?! It would have seemed impossible. But by God's will, this became possible.
