Pride in martyrdom
Zainab Soleimani, daughter of martyred General Qassem Soleimani, participated in General Salami's funeral, while Mahdieh Shadmani, daughter of martyred commander Ali Shadmani, delivered an emotional tribute in Hamedan, stressing her family’s pride in his martyrdom.
Shadmani’s comrades described him as “the most beloved commander of the Resistance Front.”
In the shrine courtyard, General Salami’s body was carried in a ritual circumambulation before burial in the Imam Khomeini prayer hall. IRGC commander Hasan Hasanzadeh and the custodian of the shrine, Hojjatoleslam Qazi Asgar, joined dignitaries in attending the service.
Elsewhere, citizens gathered in cities such as Kermanshah, Bandar Abbas, and Bijar for the funerals of martyrs, including Nima Izadi Ara, Saeed Azarbadegan, and Reza Bastami, members of Iran’s special forces and law enforcement.
Anti-'Israel' and anti-US slogans echo nationwide
Crowds attending the funerals chanted slogans condemning the Israeli occupation entity and the United States, affirming their continued support for the martyrs’ path. At the funeral for Generals Hajizadeh and Bagheri, cries of “Death to Israel and America” echoed throughout Behesht Zahra.

Mass processions
On Saturday, the bodies of 60 martyrs were escorted in a grand procession stretching from Tehran’s Islamic Revolution Square to Azadi Square. The convoy included victims from all segments of society: children, women, scientists, commanders, and civilians, all targeted in the recent attacks by the Israeli regime.
Hamas mourns Iran’s martyrs
On its part, the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas extended its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran following the martyrdom of several senior military commanders and nuclear scientists during the recent Israeli aggression on Iranian territory.
In a statement, Hamas stressed that the targeting of these leaders, alongside nearly 600 civilians, including women and children, constitutes “a crime of organized Zionist terrorism that spares no one in the region.”
The movement warned that this attack is part of a “malicious scheme aimed at dominating the peoples of the region, subjugating them, silencing the voice of resistance, and eliminating its vital forces.”
The statement concluded with Hamas expressing full confidence in Iran’s ability to “continue advancing in all fields and to persist in supporting the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle against the occupation.”
