Iran says made breakthrough in defense capabilities
A high-ranking Iranian military commander reveals that Iran’s defense industry has achieved significant success across various domains, including cyber warfare and the development of airborne and seaborne systems.
A high-ranking Iranian military commander praised Iranian technicians for their development and production of a range of military equipment. He emphasized that these new munitions match the quality of the unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles for which the Islamic Republic is internationally recognized.
Brigadier General Ali Shadmani, the deputy coordinator of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, made these remarks on the sidelines of the Army 2024 International Military-Technical Forum, held at Patriot Park near Moscow on Tuesday.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander said, “Our drones are world-famous. Therefore any visitor [who comes to our pavilion] would like to see our drones and our missiles. The situation is favorable for the presentation of our drones, while many of the Iranian military achievements are on par with the aircraft."
Shadmani highlighted that Iran’s defense industry achieved significant success across various domains, including cyber warfare and the development of airborne and seaborne systems. He also noted Iran’s exceptional progress in telecommunications, laser technology, and artificial intelligence. The IRGC commander emphasized that these advancements reflect an ongoing evolution in the country's defense capabilities.
Mohajer-10
Iran's IRNA news agency reported Monday that the country displayed its long-range Mohajer-10 drones at a defense exhibition in Russia.
US authorities have accused Iran of providing drones to Russia for use in Ukraine, notably the Mohajer-10's predecessor, the Mohajer-6, while Iran continuously denied such accusations.
According to IRNA, newer equipment is on show at the Army 2024 International Military-Technical Forum, which takes place from Monday to Wednesday in Patriot Park outside Russia's capital.
The claim comes as "Israel" nervously awaits Iran's vowed reprisal attack on the occupation following its murder of martyr Ismail Haniyeh on July 31 in Tehran.
Iran revealed data about the Mohajer-10 system in August last year, saying it had a longer flying range and could carry a larger payload than its predecessor.
