Iran marks annual National Day against Global Arrogance
On the paths in which the demonstrators walk, a number of stalls are set to display the crimes and atrocities that the West, namely the United States and “Israel”, have committed against Iran and other nations across the world, namely Palestine.
To commemorate the anniversary of the US embassy takeover in Tehran, millions of Iranians took to the streets to commemorate the day named the National Day against the Global Arrogance, which marks the day Iranian students stormed the US embassy, which had supported the Shah, and aided him in establishing his secret police, the SAVAK.
Demonstrators annually protest and gather outside the former headquarters of the US embassy in Tehran chanting “Down with the US” and “Down with Israel,” to relay their anger about the actions of what is known in Iran as “Global Arrogance.”

'Den of Spies'
44 years ago on November 4, Iranian students took over the US embassy in Tehran, more commonly known as the “Den of Espionage,” less than a year after the Islamic Revolution's success in toppling a US-backed monarchy.
On October 28, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) jointly released a statement highlighting the significant role that foreign intelligence services, particularly the CIA, played in planning the recent violent riots in Iran.
This comes after Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) chief commander, Major General Hossein Salami, declared on Thursday that the United States stands alone against a united world front amid its continuous support of "Israel’s" massacres in Gaza.
