The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, emphasized that "Israel" failed to achieve its objectives through its aggression against Iran, noting that the future will demonstrate how both Iran's military and scientific endeavors will advance with even greater momentum than before.

"The foolish and short-sighted enemy did not achieve its goal. The future will show that both military and scientific movements will, God willing, advance toward higher horizons more rapidly than in the past," Iran's leader stated after offering condolences to the nation.

In a Friday speech marking the 40th day since the martyrdom of military leaders, operatives, and civilians in the aggression, Sayyed Khamenei stated, "Undoubtedly, the loss of commanders like the martyrs Bagheri, Salami, Rashid, Hajizadeh, and Shadmani, along with other military figures, as well as scientists like the martyrs Tehranchi and Abbasi and other scholars, is a heavy blow to any nation."

He added that the martyrs "had chosen a path where attaining the highest honor of martyrdom was ever-present, and they ultimately achieved what all revolutionaries aspire to."

Three bright spots

Sayyed Ali Khamenei enumerated several "bright spots" from the war on Iran, first pointing to "the patience, endurance, and steadfastness of those who remained, which is something unparalleled except in major turning points in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Second, the resilience and steadfastness of the institutions that operated under the martyrs' leadership, which prevented this so-called "heavy blow" from disrupting their opportunities or halting their progress, and third, the enduring strength of the Iranian people, reflected in their unity, unshakable spirit, and resolute determination to stand firm on the front lines.

Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has once again demonstrated its fundamental resilience, noting that the nation will only grow stronger with each passing day.

Duties remain

The Leader of Iran outlined a set of responsibilities, stressing that safeguarding national unity, as well as revolutionary zeal and awareness, is a duty incumbent on every individual, especially the youth.

He also emphasized that upholding the nation’s dignity and honor falls upon public speakers and opinion leaders, while providing spiritual guidance, enlightening hearts, and advocating for patience, composure, and popular steadfastness is the duty of religious scholars.

Sayyed Khamenei added that the scientific community has a critical role in driving technological advancement across all sectors, while military leaders must continuously strengthen national defenses to protect our security and sovereignty.
