Iran's FM slams UNSC's Western bloc for aiding Israeli criminal action
During a meeting in Muscat, Oman, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian denounced the US, the UK, and France for their actions in an urgent meeting of the UNSC.
Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, slammed the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, on Sunday, for opposing a statement in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that condemned the Israeli regime's malicious strike on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, Syria.
During a meeting with the chief negotiator of Yemen's National Salvation Government, Mohammad Abdul-Salam, in Muscat, Oman, the top diplomat said that the actions of the aforementioned states in the UNSC were proof of their "political hypocrisy".
"There is no doubt that the Islamic Republic of Iran, apart from the legal and international measures taken, will use its rights recognized by international law to punish the criminal aggressors and hold them accountable," Amir-Abdollahian stated.

Western-led bloc evades condemning dangerous Israeli crime
Amir-Abdollahian said that the stances of the Western bloc of UNSC permanent members constitute brazen support for the Israeli regime's crimes and encourage the expansion of regional instability and insecurity.
On April 1, US-supplied Israeli F-35 fighter jets launched six missiles toward the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, leading to the martyrdom of seven Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) officers, including martyr Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi. The US failed to condemn the attack during an urgent meeting of the UNSC. Its deputy representative, Robert Wood, said that Washington cannot confirm information about the event and the nature of the attacked facility, refusing to condemn the Israeli attack.
